Lariat Resources, LLC (Lariat) is a privately owned independent company engaged in the acquisition, development and exploration of oil & natural gas in Texas. Our headquarters is located in Fort Worth, Texas and we are a registered Operator with the Railroad Commission of Texas.

Lariat currently operates oil & gas assets in the Permian Basin of West Texas. We are primarily focused on growth and acquisition in the Permian Basin because of our operating experience in this basin and because of the opportunity for symmetry with our existing assets. Lariat typically prefers to acquire producing oil & gas assets that have upside potential upside either through lease improvements or drilling.

Lariat prefers opportunities where we have the responsibility of being the operator. Placing a high priority on the control of the day to day operations enables Lariat to effectively keep operating costs to a minimum.
